The primary aim of our clothing giveaway is to support young families before the school year resumes by providing back-to-school clothing. Unfortunately, we have faced shortages of school-aged clothes in the past two years. Any assistance in collecting school-aged clothing would be immensely appreciated!

Uniting to help our homeless
It's not a handout--it's hope
wrapped in brotherly love.
HOW CAN I DONATE?
We post a link to a custom list from Amazon
where we have the needed items. People
choose what they want to donate and the items are delivered and stored at a central location until the day of the assembly event. Often members of the community donate hotel toiletries, gently used socks and had crafted beanies and scarves.
Making care kits for the homeless is dear to our heart. It’s not just a bag of supplies to the homeless... it’s hope wrapped in brotherly love. Much thanks to all who supported this year by donating supplies and time in organizing and assembling. This was our 5th year. We made 100 bags. This year we added hand written notes of encouragement. Youth from different congregations helped with this effort and the most touching one might have been the simplest written by a 13 year old girl that said “l love you.” The bags were lovingly and skillfully sewn by Carol Spencer When Carol volunteer to help sew bags three years ago and was given a pre-cut used bed sheet she said, “Oh, we can do better than that.” Starting in 2020 Carol took charge of the bags and started the “ Community Piece Makers” to share her love of fabric art while making these bags. Her classes were felled by the pandemic shutdowns so she and Diana Webb took on the task. The filled bags will be distributed closer to Christmas by Pastor Sherrie Day and Christian Hope Community Fellowship that ministers to the homeless.
Our first annual Community

Christmas songs a good time was had by all.

2022 Community Clean-up
Nothing brings a community together like working together for the common good. This was our 4th year bringing Ramonans together to pull weeds and beautify Collier Park and pick up trash in the park and on Main Street. Our first ever after clean up lunch was a big hit!
Watch a short video of the event by clicking on the poster.
